This four day camp will bring together six elite goaltenders for an ultimate training experience. Your development will be fast-tracked as you work on the ice for four hours per day facing WHL shooters while high-level, experienced coaches guide you through each rep. Thursday night will be a welcome dinner for our goaltenders and staff. Each goaltender will go through an assessment with Dan Bos, a Vancouver based sports physiotherapist having worked with many professional athletes. Dan will evaluate your functional movement patterns, and help you target areas of weakness to make sure you are at your best for the weekend. Starting Friday morning, we will move at an intense pace, demanding nothing less than extremely hard work and attention to every single detail. The ice sessions will be two hours each, with a flood half-way through. This is to make sure the goaltenders and shooters have some time to rest, get a snack, and continue functioning at the highest possible level. After the morning sessions, there will be some time to relax, have a nap, and refuel for the afternoon. Three meals per day will be catered to Eli’s house, and will be specifically designed for professional athletes. Biosteel sports drinks, recovery shakes, and snacks will be available all day. After lunch, it’s back to the rink for the afternoon sessions. Another two hours of getting better. When the work day is done, we will eat together, and our goaltenders will have another appointment with Dan to evaluate any pain or discomfort you might have. You will be able to watch yourself perform all the drills that day, as our staff films, shares, and analyzes all of your reps to help you get the most out of each drill. This whole weekend of working with top-end shooters and coaches is guaranteed to vastly improve your game and get you to the next level. Don’t get left behind.
